Abstract: This paper introduced characteristics and planting performance of “Ⅱyoufu 819” and summarized high yield cultivation techniques. “Ⅱyoufu 819” had the characters of vigorous growth, thick stem, moderate tillering capacity, high regeneration capacity, heavy panicle type. Some measures should be taken including sowing in good time, reasonable close-planting density, rational fertilizer and water management, control of diseases and pests, remaining high stubble, scientific management in ratooning cropping season.
