Abstract:
Supported by the project of soil testing and fertilizer recommendation, the nutrient status in paddy soil of Luojiang District, Quanzhou was determined. The results showed that the paddy soil in whole district occurred mainly acidity and slight acidity; content of organic matter was at higher-medium level, available nitrogen was at medium, available phosphorus was sufficient, available potassium was slightly deficient, soil exchangeable calcium was basically at higher-medium level, available sulfur and boron were deficient, exchangeable magnesium and available Zn in the soil which at deficient level or higher-medium level occupied equal ration; weak capacity in fertilizer supplication and preservation. Based on the status, some measures for soil modification and fertility improvement were put forward.
