Abstract: Adjusting the structure of animal husbandry according to local conditions, and accelerating the development of grain-saving and grass-eating animals, such as cattle and sheep, was an effective way to promote the sustainable development of the animal husbandry in Fujian Province. This paper analyzed the main problems and development prospects of animal husbandry in Fujian Province, and suggested to further develop and popularize the use of silage maize as the feed in grass-eating animal husbandry.
