Abstract:
A trial on control efficacy of 6 pesticides against
Cnaphalocrocis medinalis was conducted under field condition. The results showed that the control efficacies of 200 g/L chlorantraniliprole(SC), 25g/L Spinosad(SC), 240 g/L metaflumizone(SC), 50 g/L lufenuron(EC), 100 g/L chlorfenapyr(SC), 500 g/L profenofos(EC) on
Cnaphalocrocis medinalis reached 61.11%-88.58%, the controlling effects of pest population were 51.99%-97.35%. Among which, 240 g/L metaflumizone(SC) showed the best effect on controlling
Cnaphalocrocis medinalis, and the efficacy were 88.58% and 87.65%, respectively, when applied 100 g and 130 g per 667 m
2. In this experiment, 6 pesticides were tested under reasonable dosages, which were safe to rice production and could be used to substitute the high toxic pesticides for controlling
Cnaphalocrocis medinalis.
