Abstract: “Yongyou 17” was planted as post-tobacco rice in Xiaosong Town, Jian’ou City, showing a characteristics of regular population, moderate plant type, strong stem, high lodging resistance, big ear with more grains, good coloring in late period, high yield, high quality and high disease resistance. For high-quality and high-yield production, some technical links should be taken including field selection, strong seedlings, rational close planting, scientific fertilization, strengthening water management, comprehensive control of diseases and pests and timely harvest.
