Abstract: A simple comparison test and demonstration of 18 new introduced hybrid rice varieties (combinations) were carried out. The result showed that ten new varieties (combinations) had higher yield than control variety “Yiyou 673” by 0.44%-16.67%. “Guangyou 673” showed highest yield. Among 18 tested varieties (combinations), “Guangyou 673”, “Huifengyou 3301”, “Zheyou 18”, “Leyou 3301”, “Guang 8 you 673”, “Jinnong 3 you No.3” and “Chunyou 84” showed better comprehensive characters, suitable growth period and high yield, and were suggested to be further demonstrated in trial.
