Abstract: New three-line hybrid rice cv. ‘Taifengyou 3301’ was introduced and planted in Junkou Town, Jianning County, Fujian Province as post tobacco rice. It performed high yield, high quality and high adverse-resistance and could be an ideal substitution as post tobacco rice in low and middle hill regions. This paper summarized its high yield cultivation techniques including early sowing in suitable time, breeding strong seedlings with many tillers, transplanting in time, laying the foundation of seedlings for high yield; management of water and fertilize to enhance rapid growth, comprehensive control of diseases and pests, natural disaster prevention and control and innovation of service to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
