    Research progress on chemical components and biological activity of Eugenia brasiliensis

    • 摘要: 巴西樱桃为桃金娘科番樱桃属亚热带果树,其叶、果实和种子含有丰富的化学成分。总结巴西樱桃生物学特性和观赏价值,并对其栽培和引种状况、营养价值、化学成分与生物活性成分分析的研究进展进行综述。

       

      Abstract: Brazil-cherry (Eugenia brasiliensis L.), is a subtropical fruit trees that belongs to the genus Eugenia in the Myrtaceae family.There were rich chemical compositions in its leaves, fruits and seeds.The recent trend in the study of essential oils, flavonoids, anthocyanins and other biologically active ingredients in Eugenia brasiliensis were introduced in this paper.And their functions in antibacterial and antioxidant and other fields were focus on to recognize its development value in biological medicine, food and other fields.
