    苦瓜新品种比较试验初报

    Comparison test on new varieties of balsam pear

    • 摘要: 引进6个苦瓜新品种进行比较试验,结果表明:闽秀5号、香帅2号均属中熟品种,植株生长旺盛,抗逆性较强,产量分别比对照品种‘西园苦瓜’增产12.6%、8.2%,差异均达极显著水平,适宜在漳平市推广种植。

       

      Abstract: In order to screen the suitable balsam pear variety for further popularized in cultivation, six newly introduced varieties, including "Qisheng 201" and others were comparatively tested on agronomic characters, yield, and adverse resistance with variety "Xiyuan" as control. The results showed that "Minxiu No.5" and "Xiangshuai No.2" were suitable for large-area cultivation in Zhangping, the yield of which were 12.6% and 8.2% higher than the control, respectively. They were both medium varieties, with long and conical fruit with deep green color, the average weight of single fruit reached 0.7 kg, plants grow vigorously, and with high stress resistance in Zhangping.
