Abstract: Fuzhou City has special advantage of climate resources and abundant fruit genetic resources. Five main fruit trees in Fuzhou City are plum, citrus, Chinese olive, loquat and longan. In this paper, genetic resources of these five main fruit trees were briefly introduced and those productive planting distribution in Fuzhou City was investigated. Plum was mainly distributed in the area of both sides along Dazhangxi River in Yongtai County with altitude of 200-500 m and its planting area and yield were 13 500 hm² and 124 000 tons, respectively. Citrus was mainly distributed in Minqing County, Yongtai County, Minhou County and Lianjiang County and its planting area and yield were 9 700 hm² and 123 000 tons, respectively. Chinese olive was mainly distributed in Minhou County and Minqing County and its planting area and yield were 8 200 hm² and 72 000 tons, respectively. Loquat was mainly distributed in Fuqing City, Yongtai County and Lianjiang County and its planting area and yield were 7 100 hm² thousands hm² and 47 000 tons, respectively. Longan was mainly distributed in Changle City, Fuqing City and Minhou County and its planting area and yield were 4 700 hm² and 29 000 tons, respectively. The paper also stated status of post-harvest processing of five main fruit trees in Fuzhou City.
