Abstract: ‘Minyin huangpi’ chewing cane is an excellent sugarcane variety with high plant height, big stem diameter, good appearance quality, high and stable yield, moderate sweetness, good taste, etc. It is suitable for planting in most areas of Fujian Province. The key cultivation for the high yield and high quality of ‘Minyin huangpi’ chewing cane were summarized in this study in order to provide reference to the popularized cultivation, which included the variety selection and seedling treatment, field selection and soil preparation, planting, field management, pest and diseases control, harvesting and storage, and so on.
