Abstract: There were 5 recognized pollution-free sweet potato bases in Jinjiang City, respectively. The yield and output value of no-pollution sweet potato are 2 458 kg per 667 m² and 3 933-4 916 yuan, respectively, showing remarkable economic benefits. Combing with local production practice, the paper summarized no-pollution cultivation techniques of sweet potato in open field including field selection, varieties selection, seedling nursing techniques, ridging, fertilization, transplanting, field management, control of diseases and pests and harvest in time.
