Abstract: Using the single factor random block design, the effects of different plastic film mulching on the main characters and yield of ‘Longshu No.28’ were studied. The results showed that mulching with plastic film could increase the average vine length, number of branches per plant and dry matter percentage of ‘Longshu No.28’, and extremely significantly increase the yield of fresh potatoes, dried potatoes and starch. The yield and economic benefits per 667 m² of mulching with transparent plastic film were the highest, with 2 385.80 kg of fresh potatoes, 938.67 kg of dried potatoes, 662.08 kg of starch, and 2 851.60 Yuan of economic benefits.
