Abstract: Yongyou 17 is a three-line Indica-Japonica Hybrid rice variety bred by Crop Research Institute of Ningbo Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Ningbo Seed Co., Ltd. with a combination of Yongjing 4A and Yonghui 12. It was approved by Fujian Provincial Crop Variety Approval Committee in 2014 (Approval No. 2014018). In 2016, Yongyou 17 varieties were introduced into Hedong Township of Songxi County, showing the characteristics of moderate growth period, tough stem, strong lodging resistance, wide adaptability, large spikes and many grains, high yield and high quality, and so on. In this paper, the yield performance, characteristics and high-yielding cultivation techniques of Yongyou 17 in Hedong Township of Songxi County from 2016 to 2017 were summarized.
