Abstract: Guided by the conviction that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets, forestry eco-economy is actively developed and high quality development of forestry is strengthened to contribute to vitalize rural economy in Fujian Province. Forestry has irreplaceable and supporting role in rural vitalization such as accelerating construction of rural industry development, ecology-based civilization development and speeding up modernization of agriculture and rural areas. In this paper, status of forestry development in Fujian Province was summarized, importance of forestry development in rural vitalization was analyzed and some measures were also proposed to help rural vitalization and step up forestry development.
