Abstract: A new sweet potato variety ‘Quanshu 19’ of Quanzhou Institute of Agricultural Sciences was bred in 2006 by crossing Chaoshu 1 with Quanshu 148. ‘Quanshu 19’ was introduced for demonstration planting in Wangchuan Town, Hui'an County from 2016 to 2017, which showed high and stable yields. The yield performance and characteristics of Quanshu 19 were introduced. Its high-yield cultivation techniques were summarized from the aspects of selecting good seed potatoes and cultivating strong seedlings, deep tillage and high border, rational fertilization and good base fertilizer application, timely planting and rational close planting, strengthening field management, timely pest control and timely harvesting.
