Abstract: The Coix has been cultivated in Fujian for a long history and Fujian is one of the important provinces for Coix production. At present, the Coix industry in Fujian is developing slowly and its products are few, so it can only be used as miscellaneous grains. This paper synthesized the current situation and analyzed the problems of Coix industry development, put forward the countermeasures to develop the Coix industry in Fujian Province, such as promoting social awareness, provincial cooperation, regionalization and humanize, strengthening scientific and technological investment, and cultivating leading enterprises, which would provide reference for the development of Coix industry in Fujian Province.
