Abstract: Peanut is the second largest field economic crop except tobacco and one of the eight leading agricultural industries in Longyan. Especially the salty and crisp peanut in shell is the local traditional characteristic product in Longyan, which is sold all over the country and exported to overseas markets. The development status of peanut industry in Longyan City was summarized from two aspects of production status and processing conditions, and then six existing problems were analyzed. Last, the corresponding countermeasures for the sustainable development of peanut industry in Longyan City were put forward.
