    水稻棉絮状花序突变体ecp1的鉴定与基因定位

    Identification and Gene Localization of Rice Encapsulated Cotton Panicle Mutant (ecp1)

    • 摘要: 通过对水稻籼型恢复系明恢86组培变异后代的筛选,得到1个棉絮状花序突变体ecp1(encapsulated cotton panicle 1)。棉絮状花序突变体表现生育期内水稻抽穗异常,其小穗部被白色类棉絮物质囊状包裹,无法形成正常的稻穗,进而导致无法结实。遗传分析表明,ecp1受单一隐性核基因控制。利用籼稻品种93-11与ecp1突变体杂交的F2群体,通过SSR和InDel标记,将ecp1定位于水稻第8染色体约240 kb的区间。研究结果为ecp1基因的克隆和功能分析奠定了基础。

       

      Abstract: A encapsulated cotton panicle mutant (ecp1) was obtained by screening the tissue culture and variant progenies of restorer line Minghui 86 of indica rice. The encapsulated cotton panicle mutant showed abnormal rice heading during the growth period, and its spikelet was enveloped by white cotton-like material, which could not form normal rice spike, and thus could not seed. The genetic analysis showed that ecp1 was controlled by a single recessive nuclear gene. F2 colony from a hybrid of indica rice variety 93-11 and ecp1 mutant was used to locate ecp1 in the region of about 240 kb on chromosome 8 of rice by SSR and InDel markers. The results of this study laid a foundation for the cloning and functional analysis of ecp1 gene.
