Abstract: In order to provide reference for the construction of imitative ecological cultivation base of Paris polyphylla for producing the high-quality medicinal materials, based on the field investigation and years of experience in the base construction, the condition requirements, base construction planning and base types of the imitative ecological cultivation of Paris polyphylla were expounded. Then, the benefits of the seedling bases, the parent field bases and the medicinal material bases were analyzed, and the problems affecting the construction of the bases were also analyzed, including the variety selection, the technical team and the scale, etc. Last, the countermeasures for risk prevention and control were put forward from the aspects including training the team of technical personnel, establishing the good base operation model, improving the output and quality and combining with the local policies, etc.
