Abstract: K Liangyou 1269, a new hybrid rice with high yield and high quality, was bred by the combination of the two-line sterile line K12S and the restorer line Nanhui 769 by Nanping Institute of Agricultural Science in Fujian Province. It was examined and approved by the National Crop Variety Examination Committee in 2018 (the examination number:20180105). K Liangyou 1269 was introduced to Tongyou Town of Jianyang District to carry out the demonstration planting of medium rice and post-tobacco rice, showing the characteristics of wide adaptability, excellent rice quality, high yield and strong resistance. Then, the yield, main characteristics and high-yield cultivation techniques of K Liangyou 1269 in Tongyou Town of Jianyang District were summarized.
