Abstract: The purpose of this study was to cultivate the seed-collecting mother plant of Paris polyphylla var. chinensis to improve the yield and quality of seed. According to the growth and development habits of Paris polyphylla var. chinensis and its requirements on the ecological environment, with the bionic cultivation as the requirement and the seed harvesting as the purpose, through many years of practical research, the spring management technologies of the seed-collecting mother plant of Paris polyphylla var. chinensis were summarized from the aspects of the prevention of late spring coldness, scientific fertilization, ditch cleaning and water drainage, illumination management, plowing and weeding, pollination and pest control. The spring management of the seed-collecting mother plant of Paris polyphylla var. chinensis played a very important role in improving the disease resistance of plant and promoting the growth throughout the whole year, which would provide a reference for improving the technological level for the management of the seed-collecting mother plant of Paris polyphylla var. chinensis.
