Abstract: In order to further understand the research status and the future development trend of the field of domestic rural industrial convergence, by selecting the relevant documents with the theme of "rural industrial convergence or agricultural industrial convergence" published in CSSCI source journals and Chinese core journals from the CNKI periodical database from 2000 to 2019, the software Citespace was used to draw knowledge maps to analyze the obtained documents from the perspectives of time, subjects, journals, disciplines and highly cited papers, the development status of the research on rural industrial convergence in China was revealed, and the research trend of this field was reflected through the keywords and emergent words. The results showed that a total of 302 papers were selected, which were mainly published in the agricultural economic journals; The annual number of published papers showed an overall rising trend; The composition of disciplines was dominated by the economic management subject, with a total of 196 papers. The research subjects were concentrated in universities and scientific research institutes, among which China Agricultural University and Chinese People's University successively published more papers. By sorting out the keywords, the four research topics were obtained, namely connotation definition, driving factor, integration pattern and promotion path; It could be found that the research focus in this field was agriculture from the map of emergent words. In a word, the research literatures basically focused on the economic management, but there was a lack of cooperation and communication among the main research subjects; the connotation definition and the pattern path were the current research core; the agricultural issues would become the core of research in this field. In the future research, the research field of rural industrial convergence should be further optimized in terms of research subjects, contents and methods, so as to provide the support of think tank for the realization of agricultural and rural development in China.
