Abstract: Since the reform and opening up, the agricultural cooperation between Zhangzhou and Taiwan has developed from a tentative investment in the early 1980s to a comprehensive development at present, setting a benchmark in the whole country. The Cross-strait Modern Agricultural Exposition and Cross-strait Flower Exposition (hereinafter referred as the Cross-strait Agricultural Expo and Flower Expo) has been developing continuously accompany with the deepening of the cross-strait agricultural cooperation. After more than 20 years of development, the Cross-strait Agricultural Expo and Flower Expo has become a well-known brand of agricultural exposition in China, and is known as the largest agricultural exhibition in South China by the industry. Based on the analysis on the results of the Cross-Strait Agricultural Expo and Flower Expo, the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the connection of agricultural industries between Zhangzhou and Taiwan were sorted out, and then the development countermeasures and relevant suggestions for the connection of characteristic agricultural industries between Zhangzhou and Taiwan were put forward.
