Abstract: Conducting the research on the performance evaluation of rural revitalization and identifying the impediments to rural development would help to steadily advance the strategy of rural revitalization. In view of the shortcomings in the performance evaluation index system and model construction of rural revitalization in China, and based on summarizing the research status of the performance evaluation index system and model construction of rural revitalization, the performance evaluation index system and evaluation model of rural revitalization were constructed by taking Fujian Province as an example. Then, thirty-seven secondary indexes were constructed from three aspects of ″strong agriculture″, ″beautiful countryside″ and ″wealthy farmers″, and the weight calculation of each index in the evaluation index system and the performance evaluation model were theoretically conceived.
