Abstract: The index system was constructed from the five aspects, including the industrial prosperity, ecological livability, rural civilization, effective governance and rich life. The weight of each index was determined by using the entropy weight method, and the TOPSIS model was used to evaluate the performance of promoting the rural revitalization strategy in the nine cities of Fujian Province from 2016 to 2021. The results showed that the rural revitalization strategies which were promoted in Fuzhou, Xiamen and Sanming have achieved excellent performance. Quanzhou, Nanping, Zhangzhou and Putian had good performance level in promoting the strategy of rural revitalization. Longyan and Ningde ranked low in the comprehensive score index, and the performance level of promoting the rural revitalization strategy was general.
