Abstract: “Jiafuzhan” had good characteristics of high quality, moderate growth period, high resistance, good germination of axillary buds at low node position, strong buds, higher yield in ratooning growing season, good regeneration of buds in low node position and high crushing resistance as ratoon rice and could be cultivated in fields with low stubble harvested by machine. This paper summarized specific cultivation techniques of “Jiafuzhan” as ratooning rice with low stubble harvested by machine.
