Abstract: A new coix variety Cuiyi No.1 that planted after tobacco, had good performance and the advantages of compacter plant type, stronger tillering ability, good productivity, large grain number in a plant, high seed setting rate, large 100-seed weight, light damages from diseases and pests, high yield, good quality and strong resistance, and so on. In cultivation, it needs to pay attention in the timely sowing, raising healthy seedlings, planting enough basic seedlings, improving transplanting quality, well field management and timely harvesting, etc. And the key to improve the yield of coix seeds after tobacco was ensuring the transplanting survival rate and maintaining the plant uniformity in field growing period.
