Abstract: Tufang Town of Changting City has a reputation of the “land of Clocasia escallenta” in western Fujian. Pinang taro produced in Tufang is welcome in domestic and abroad markets for its high quality, special character. The technology for high quality, high yield and pollution free cultivation of Clocasia escallenta was summarized including preparation before fix-planting, seed selection and seedling fix-planting, field management, pests and diseases control, harvest time and overwinter conservation, and so on.
