    Cultivation trial of foundation potato seed propagation in winter with different densities

    • Potato propagation test with different planting densities in greenhouse for a new tiny-tuber variety “Minshu 1” was conducted in winter. The results showed that the planting density for the highest yield of big potato, small potato and foundation seed potato was 6000, 4000 and 7000 individuals per 667 m2, respectively. And the economical efficiency peaked at 5000 plants per 667 m2.
