Effect of metaxenia effect on the fruit external quality of Fuzhou local orange and xuegan

Murcott tangor is a high quality citrus variety and its metaxenia effect can affect the fruit external quality of Fuzhou local orange and xuegan. In this paper, using the adult bearing tree of Fuzhou local orange and xuegan as the test material and inner bore 3-4 grade branch high grafting with maogu tangor as the pollination branches, the effect of metaxenia effect produced by cross pollination on the fruit external quality of Fuzhou local orange and xuegan were studied, and the results showed that metaxenia of Murcott tangor had the different effect on the fruit external quality and showed significant metaxenia phenomenon.
