Investigation on native tea germplasm in Pingnan County

Based on general investigation on native tea germplasm in Pingnan County, after investigating native tea genetic resources, establishing observation site and conducting experiments for years. Six regions of native (wild and semi-wild) tea germplasm were selected as typical and valuable one for conservation and utilization. This paper summarized distribution region, representative varieties, characteristics, quality characters and utilizing status of native tea germplasm at areas of Yinqiang Mountainous area, Jiji Mountainous area, Daping Mountainous area, Zhangfengxian Mountainous area, Fengcha Mountainous area and Tianping Mountainous area.
