A comparison test of nine new hybrid rice varieties was carried out. The results showed that four varieties, i.e. “Guanglangyou 676”, “Hua 2 you 3301”, “Zhongzheyou No.10” and “Yuyou 180” showed moderate maturity period, high resistance to diseases, the yield were very significantly higher than that of “Yiyou 673”. So, these varieties were suitable to be extended as semi-late rice and post tobacco rice.
