Breeding and high yield cultivation techniques of pinang-taro Tingyu No.1

Pinang-taro cv. Tingyu No.1 was a red bud pinang-taro, screened from the variant of the leading cultivars of white bud pinang-taro in Changting County which passed by years of breeding, it has the characters of good fruit shape, nice taste, high yield, good quality, strong resistance, wide adaptability, etc. The main characteristics and the high yield cultivation techniques of the varieties were summarized in this paper.
