Study on risk of a quarantine weed, Amaranthus palmeri S. Watson introduced into China

In this paper, risk of Amaranthus palmeri S. Watson introduced into China was studied in aspects of geographical distribution, potential harmfulness, economic importance of harmed plants and possibility of colonization and spread after introduction, and difficulty of risk control. Some measures were proposed such as strengthening the inspection and quarantine.
