Effects of tuber-seed quality on its growth and yield of Pinang taro (Colocasia esculenta)

In this paper, two varieties of Colocasia esculenta "Tingyu No.1" and "Changtingbaiya" were used as materials to study effects of different seed quality on mass growth and yield of parents. The results showed that there were great effects of different tuber-seed quality on mass growth and yield of parents. The tuber-seeds with weight over 150 g showed the best planting performance and the highest yield.
