Field efficacy trials of 8% validamycin AS on controlling rice sheath blight disease

In this paper, field efficacy trials of 8% validamycin AS on controlling rice sheath blight disease was carried out. The results showed that control efficiency reached highest level when 8.0 g 8% validamycin AS per 667 m² was used twice at the peak tillering stage. Control efficiency was 82.18% after 14 d of pesticide application. In the production practice, it was suggested that 8.0 g 8% validamycin AS per 667 m² needs to be used twice at the peak tillering stage.
