A preliminary report of control trial on pepper root rot under facility cultivation

Abstract
In this paper, experiments of soil sterilization and root-irrigation of pesticide on pepper root rot under facility cultivation were carried out. The results showed that control efficiency on pepper root rot by combining usage of calcium cyanamide with Shenqinzhibaijin, a bio-organic fertilizer, or single usage of calcium cyanamide for soil sterilization were 95.64% and 89.71%, respectively. All treatments of root-irrigation of pesticide had less control efficiency. Control efficiency of prochloraz and chlorothalonil together, prochloraz and bismerthiazol together, prochloraz and agricultural streptomycintogether and bacillus subtilis and Shenqinzhibaijin used for root-irrigation were only 47.91%-65.36%. In practice, it was suggested that combining usage of 50 kg 40% calcium cyanamide with 1.2 kg Shenqinzhibaijin or single usage of 50 kg 40% alcium cyanamide per 667 m2 were suggested for soil sterilization to control hot pepper root rot.
