    Evaluation on applying five cassava species in different soil erosion governing area

    • By using cassava varieties F15, F901, G15, SC5 and GR911 as materials, the trial cultivation was carried out in the different water and soil erosion control areas in Sanzhou Town of Changting County. The results showed that F15 and GR911 were better under the pine forest with the tuber yield of 1.32 T/667 m2 (19.80 T/hm2) and 1.41 T/667 m2 (21.15 T/hm2) respectively, and tested 5 varieties were all suitable to plant in the waste mining area with the yield of 1.80-2.60 t.
