Effects of water-extracts from medicinal plants on growth of Ganoderma lucidum and fermentation of triterpene acids

    • Effects of 15 water-extracts from medicinal plants on growth of Ganoderma lucidum and fermentation of triterpene acids were studied. The results showed that 0.25 g/L water-extract of honeysuckle could obviously promote the growth of G. lucidum mycelium and the formation of extracellular and intracellular triterpene acids. The biomass of mycelium was increased from 6.79 g/L to 7.63 g/L, the content of extracellular triterpene acids increased from 81.93 mg/L to 138.20 mg/L, and the content of intracellular triterpene acids increased from 69.76 mg/L to 84.55 mg/L.
