    Characteristics of sunshine-hours variation and its effects on tea production in An'xi

    • Decadal, annual and seasonal changes of sunshine hours in An'xi and effects of sunshine hours on local agricultural production were analyzed based on the data during 1971-2016 obtained from An'xi National Meteorological Observing Station. The results showed that the sunshine hours peaked in 1970s, and was the lowest in 1990s based on decadal changes. Sunshine hours were annually decreased in general, and the maximum was in 1971 with 2353.3 h. As for the seasonal changes, the sunshine hours were all decreased down, extremely in summer. The monthly variation of sunshine hours showed that the highest sunshine hours appeared in July, and the lowest in February and March. Based on the above, corresponding countermeasures for tea production were put forward.
