A preliminary report on comparison test of fruit cane variety

A variety comparison test were carried out in Datian County,Sanming City by using fruit cane cv.‘Minyinhuangpi’ and‘Longhei’ as trial materials and‘Heipi’ and‘Datianxuezhe’ as control.The results showed that‘Minyinhuangpi’ and‘Longhei’showed good comprehensive characters and high adaptability.The yield of‘Minyinhuangpi’ was 9715 kg per 667 m²,was similar to that of‘Datianxuezhe’ and was very significantly higher than that of‘Heipi’.Sucrose content of‘Longhei’ was 15.90% and was very significantly higher than that of‘Heipi’ and‘Datianxuezhe’ as control.‘Minyinhuangpi’ and‘Longhei’ showed no occurrence of diseases and pests during test.‘Minyinhuangpi’ had better comprehensive characters and could be further popularized.But‘Longhei’ needs to be made further trial.
