Abstract
Polysaccharide contents in gel, whole leaf, leaf epidermis and rootstalk of Chinese Aloe were measured by phenol-sulfuric acid coloration method and electrochemical differential pulse voltammetry. The results showed that both the phenol-sulfuric acid coloration method and electrochemical differential pulse voltammetry had good linear relation, precision and recovery. The content of polysaccharide in the rootstalk of aloe was the highest, the leaf epidermis was inferior and the gel was the lowest.
