Planting performance and high yield cultivation techniques of rice cv. ‘Tongyou039’

Rice cv. ‘Tongyou039’ is a new three-line hybrid rice variety bred by Quanzhiou Institute of Agricultural Sciences and Fujian Shennongdafeng Seed Science and Technology Co., Ltd. It was demonstrated and planted in Dehua County, Quanzhou City in 2015 and in 2016, showing regular population, above-average tillering capacity, large ear with many grains, high yield, high quality, ideal plant and leaf type, good coloring in the mature period and wide adaptability. The paper introduced its planting performance and characteristics and summarized its high yield cultivation techniques.
