Comparative analysis on baking process of wheat seedlings in reformed flue-cured tobacco chamber with the traditional method

Abstract
The idle flue-cured tobacco chamber in winter was reformed to bake wheat seedlings, and this method was compared with traditional methods. The results showed that, the reformed flue-cured tobacco chamber of 80 m long, 30 m wide and 38 m high could bake fresh wheat seedlings about 1000 kg at a time, exempt the manpower from turning wheat seedlings, its fuel costs and saved drying time were reduced, the color of dried wheat seedling products was better and nutritional quality was higher.
