Biosynthesis and physiological activity of plant steroid saponins
This paper introduced the main ways of biosynthesis of plant steroid saponins, and summarized the antibacterial and antitumor efficacy of these compounds, as well as their physiological activities in treating cardiovascular diseases and reducing blood glucose and lipids.
