A review of the application of the expert system for crop cultivation in China

In this paper, the general structure, classification and development platform of expert system were introduced, and the research progress of expert system of crop cultivation at home and abroad were summarized. Also the problems existing in the process of developing crop expert system in China were analyzed and some suggestions in further developing the expert system in China by means of ‘3S’ technology, virtual technology and data mining technology were puts forward.
