Study on High-yielding Cultivated Techniques of Pod Pepper in High Altitude Mountainous Area

The pod pepper was traditionally planted in Xiling Township of Pingnan County and was suitable for local high altitude climate. The output of fresh pepper was 1 800-2 200 kg/667 m², and the output value was 6 800-12 500 RMByuan/667 m². In this paper, the high-yielding cultivated techniques on pod pepper under local conditions were summarized, including seed treatment, sowing and breeding, field fertilization, transplanting and field planting, field management, pest control and so on.
