Detection on Organophosphorus Pesticide Residue in Vegetables from Quanzhou Area

    • In 2017, 1 033 vegetable samples from 12 counties (cities or districts) in Quanzhou were detected for organophosphorus pesticide residues using enzyme inhibition rate method, and 25 positive samples were further tested for qualitative and quantitative analysis, among which, 4 samples were proved exceeding pesticide residue standard. The results showed that the qualified rate of organophosphorus pesticide residues in vegetables from Quanzhou in 2017 was 99.60%, and the exceeding standard rate was 0.40%; the excessive organophosphorus pesticide residues was severer in leaf vegetable; and the main compounds correlated to the excessive organophosphorus pesticide residues were fenitrothion, phorate, profenofos, and isocarbophos, among which the fenitrothion was the severest.
