Abstract
In order to achieve the goal of high yield and less fertilizer application during the growth period of rice, the effects of incorporating milk vetch into paddy field and reducing fertilizer amount on the yield and properties of rice were studied. The results showed that the yield of rice was the highest while milk vetch application was 22 500 kg·hm-2 and 80% chemical fertilizer application, and the number of effective panicles in rice could be improved by the combination of the application of milk vetch and chemical fertilizer, indicating that incorporating 22 500 kg·hm-2 milk vetch could replace 20% chemical fertilizer.
